I just installed the Boss Encoders and they are well worth the money. My machine is 13 years old (Tin Lizzie Ram on metal frame) and I couldn’t stitch a row without skipped stitches. The Boss Encoders run smoothly and give me perfect stitches. Once installed, there was no “setup” of any kind, I just plugged them in and the robot stitched out the pattern. My only suggestion is, for the cost of the encoders, there should be a much better quality installation video with close up shots and suggestions for various frames. The installation is easy, the hard part was deciding where on my frame to put them, as my metal frame was not the same as in the video. Bottom line, I would buy them again.
